Legendary LED ZEPPELIN singer Robert Plant took part in a performance and interview on last night’s (Thursday, February 1) episode of “The Late Late Show With James Corden” on the CBS television network. Video footage of his appearance can be seen below.
ROBERT PLANT & THE SENSATION SPACE SHIFTERS kicked off their U.S. tour on February 9 in Raleigh, North Carolina. On the trek, they are playing a set tapping into Plant‘s latest album, “Carry Fire”, and 2014’s “Lullaby And.. The Ceaseless Roar”, along with several folk and bluegrass standards, as well as his 1998 collaboration with Jimmy Page, “Please Read The Letter”, which also found a home on his Grammy Award-winning “Raising Sand” album with Alison Krauss.
According to The Pulse Of Radio, highlights for fans are the several tips of the hat to his LED ZEPPELIN years with performances of “That’s The Way”, “Gallows Pole”, “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You”, “Misty Mountain Hop” and the show-closing “Whole Lotta Love”. Plant‘s ’80s career is represented by just one track, the concert’s second-to-last song, “In The Mood”.
