A Tortured Soul, sounds like some kind of death metal, but no! American A Tortured Soul band plays heavy metal in your ass! Let’s know more about them!
Hi! Tell me about A Tortured Soul. Why did you decide to name the band with such title? What kind of ideas do you explore?
I Am Rick Black and I am -A Tortured Soul. Tortured by demons but not in my head, instead they are found in society today. and I simply must sing about it because it is Violent and Bizzare to say the least, the song Crimson is about a guy fron San Fransisco that burned down a whore house because god told him to. Now the Murdering is about the huge amount of Death and Religous control on the News Media and how we find it frightening.
“On This Evil Night” album will be released next month. How does that make you feel? Do you feel you have put album into masses without any wishes to change something now?
We have reviewed this album to death, and now concentrating on the new material. However as far as we are concerned there is as a Band we Feel there is
nothing to change and the album sounds great you know, and I cant wait till the July 29th 2016 release date on Pure Steel Records Germany.
Tell me more about “On This Evil Night”? Album ideas etc…
The band creates these great riff ideas and then they add to it improving until it is ready for a melody, and then I must write working lyrics that fit into this newly created melody, the lyrics come from my own interaction with every day life ,be it news or something from the past history of mankind.
